Nutmeg Essential Oil Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans) has a sweet, warm, spicy scent similar to the spice commonly used in cooking. Comforting and soothing, nutmeg helps boost energy. It also supports nervous and endocrine systems and prostaglandin balance.* Nutmeg has an approximate ORAC of 1,581,360 (TE/L). How to use: Diffuse for aromatherapy, inhale directly, dilute with a carrier oil to apply topically, or take as a dietary supplement. When using as a supplement, dilute one drop in 4 fl. oz. of liquid such as soy or rice milk. Possible skin sensitivity. If pregnant or under a doctor's care, consult your physician. Do not use near fire, flame, heat or spark. Dilution recommended for both topical and internal use. Dilute before using on sensitive areas such as the face, neck, genital area, etc. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid using on infants and very small children. Aromatherapy for Improved Health and WellnessAromatherapy is one of many ways you can enjoy the therapeutic benefits of essential oils. When practicing aromatherapy it's vital that only pure, undiluted essential oils are used. Synthetic, perfume-grade products lack the necessary level of beneficial constituents and offer little or no positive effect. **Modern scientific research has not yet validated these historical claims. * Statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. |
