Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) is an
important ingredient in Young Living's Thieves blend due to its
wonderful immune-enhancing properties, its principal constituent is
eugenol. Clove is the highest-scoring ingredient Young Living has
ever tested for its antioxidant capacity on the ORAC scale. Always
dilute for topical use. Clove may also be used to enhance the flavor
of foods.
Clove containing high amounts of eugenol gives the body's
natural defenses a boost and also regulates the response to stress.*
How to use:

topically. When using as a supplement, dilute one drop in 4
fl. oz. of vegetable oil and put into capsule. Then take one capsule

aromatic volatile liquids distilled from bushes, flowers, roots,
seeds, shrubs and trees.
The Chemistry of
essential oils is very complex; each one may consist of hundreds of
different and unique chemical compounds.
Unlike synthetic
chemicals,
essential oils are diverse in their effects, no two oils
are alike.
One of the factors that
determine the purity of an
essential oil is its chemical
constituents.
Essential oils are
highly concentrated and far more potent than dried herbs.
